The hose quality of standard thermoplastic hoses is not sufficient for Freon and Helium applications, because the stratum thickness of these hoses, ie organic tissue layers, is considerably lower than that of ZEC hoses. For this reason, Zec is the most suitable product for pressure switches, pressure gauges, oil return lines.
The inner layer of standard thermoplastic hoses is made of “standard” PA12 polyamide. Such materials are very different from the polymer used in ZEC hoses. The polymer material used in ZEC is a special alloy of polyamide (PA) and thermoplastic elastomer (TPE). While this material guarantees less gas permeability, thanks to its elstomer material, it provides higher flexibility without contributing to plasticity. In other words, you will not encounter technical and visual problems such as drying and peeling in the use of ZEC in outdoor weather conditions. In other words, for cooling applications, an excellent "barrier effect" is achieved during gas passage thanks to the inner filling wall of the ZEC hoses. While we guarantee this with our ZEC hoses, other standard thermoplastic hoses cannot.In addition, Zec is a brand that has completed the Helium Permeability test conducted in external laboratories. This means: Since helium gas consists of very small molecules, it is very difficult to pass the permeability test for this gas. Zec hoses has achieved this and is a brand that has proven itself worldwide. Therefore, there is a significant difference between the pressure endurance of standard thermoplastic hoses and the pressure endurance of ZEC hoses.
